Liam Moffatt will resign as Mayo GAA Chairman at the end of the year.
The Crossmolina club man informed the executive last night that he would not be seeking a third term as Chairperson of Mayo GAA.
The Chairperson indicated that his decision was based on business and personal reasons.
He will remain as Chairman until the County Convention in December.
Nominations for Convention will be sent out by Mayo GAA to Clubs in the coming weeks.
Once nominations have been submitted, they will be communicated to the Clubs.
Liam Moffatt has been speaking to Midwest Sport about his decision to step down from the role.
