Sligo Rovers’ losing streak in the League of Ireland Premier Division came to an end last night.

They played out a nil-all draw with Drogheda at Head In the Game Park.

After seven defeats in all competitions, the draw stops their run of bad form, but Liam Buckley’s side will now face St Pat’s, Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk twice in their next four fixtures.

Drogheda manager Tim Clancy was sent off late in the game, having served the last of a three-match ban against Dundalk two weeks ago.
