Mayo defender Eoghan McLaughlin was present while his team-mates returned to training this week, following their impressive All-Ireland semi-final win over Dublin last Saturday evening.
The Westport player underwent surgery last Sunday, after suffering a double jaw fracture.
He was stretchered off in the second half of the match, after a collision with Dublin's John Small.
Mayo manager James Horan would not be drawn on whether or not he would be fit for the All-Ireland final against either Kerry or Tyrone on Sept 11th, but told Midwest Sport that Eoghan's presence at the training session on Wed night was a great boost for his team-mates....
Meanwhile, the Mayo manager said it's too early to say if Oisín Mullen will be recovered to take part in the All-Ireland final.
He sustained a quad tear ahead of last weekend's semi-final, but has been receiving specialist treatment.
