Sligo produced a spirited display this evening against Derry in the All-Ireland Hurling U20 B semi-final but were unable to overturn the Oak Leaf County.

The sides were level at half time 1-08 apiece but Derry were more prolific in the second half.

Thomas Cawley was Sligo's chief scorer with ten points while Derry's Shéa Cassidy finished with 1-06 at the other end.

In the end it finished Derry 2-19 Sligo 1-15.
