The Irish Show Jumping team has been named for the three-star Czech Nations Cup in Prague, with three riders from the West of Ireland included.
Ireland finished as runners-up in the Czech Nations Cup in 2020 and two members of that team, Galway’s Michael Duffy and Mark McAuley, will once again line out this time around.
Ireland have been drawn third to jump of the 14 teams that will take part in the contest later this morning and team manager Michael Blake has named his team as follows:
Galway’s Michael Duffy with Zilton SL Z – owned by Katherine Duffy & HMF Equestrian
Sligo’s Richard Howley with Arlo De Blondel – owned by Sarah Borthwick, HK Horses & Richard Howley
Mayo’s Michael G Duffy with Lapuccino 2 (ISH) – owned by Carl Hanley Sporthorses
Co Louth’s Mark McAuley with Jasco VD Bisschop – owned by Scea La Tuiliere & Mark McAuley
The Czech Nations Cup in Prague gets underway at 11.30am Irish time, with the second round starting at 2.10pm.
