Ballaghaderreeen GAA Club will hold its draw for a brand new 211 Kia Sportage on Saturday May 15th.
The fundraising draw has been delayed up on a couple of occasions due to COVID restrictions, but the club has confirmed that the draw will go ahead on that date, while adhering to any restrictions still in place.
The monies raised by the draw are being used to build a new Astroturf 4G pitch, and work on that is almost complete.
Ballaghaderreen GAA Club also confirmed recently that the new pitch will be named after the late Frank Kelly, a stalwart of the club.
The new date will mean that the grand prize draw will tie in with the opening of the Frank Kelly Memorial Training Pitch and the return to training of all of the club’s teams.
Ballaghaderreen Senior Joint Manager and former Mayo star Andy Moran said the club is delighted to confirm May 15th as the new date for the car draw, and has thanked everyone for their support.
Tickets for the Ballaghaderrreen GAA Club Car Draw are still on sale, priced at €50.
