Henry de Bromhead secured history in Friday’s Cheltenham Gold Cup when Minella Indo led home a superb one-two for the trainer.

Minella Indo is owned by Barry Maloney who along with his brothers owns Mount Falcon Hotel in Ballina.

Barry’s late father John was from Balla and horse racing has always been a big part of his life.

He joined Michael D McAndrew on Sunday Sport this afternoon.
