Ballina’s Daniel Rafter began running at the beginning of 2021 and is now on course to run a marathon for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
The 5th-year student in Gortnor Abbey secondary school, Crossmolina started training on January the 14th and will embark on his first ever marathon on April the 24th.
Running a marathon has always been a lifetime goal for the young North Mayo man and he says to be able to do it for such a great cause like Mayo Roscommon Hospice makes it all the better.
All funds raised here will go directly to this incredible charity and cause who do so much for those suffering with terminal illness.
