A number of GAA members from clubs across the region were appointed to various committee positions at the weekend’s Congress.

As expected, there is female representation, with Galway’s Mary Judge of Caherlistrane joining Cork’s John Halbert.

In his address as new GAA president, Larry McCarthy said there would be female representation on all Croke Park’s central committees.

Tod O’Mahony from Kiltimagh GAA Club has been appointed to the Central Hearings Committee  while Neil Sheridan from Balla GAA club will be on the Central Appeals Committee.
