Mayo's Nicholas Quinn is on course to qualify for the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The Castlebar native is currently based in Edinburgh and will have to travel home to compete in the Elite Irish National Team Trials as it’s a mandatory requirement for Ireland’s carded swimmers.
The 27-year-old will compete at the 2021 International Summer Meets from 20-24th of April at the National Aquatic Centre, serving as a qualifier for the Tokyo Games.
The trials will only be open to Ireland's elite performance athletes currently training in recognised training bubbles and Nicholas will have to return home for the event.
