A poll of county board chairpersons shows significant moves in favour of All-Ireland SFC reform.

The Irish Independent carried out an extensive survey, with more than half of the respondents supporting one of the two football championship structure proposals– or something more radical.

That equates to 56 per cent in favour of change, with 20 per cent opposed.

10 motions from the Fixture Calendar Review Task Force (FCRTF) were deferred until Special Congress, with no immediate urgency for the GAA to decide, as any new format would not come into force until 2022.
