The GAA will meet next week to discuss what the extended Covid 19 restrictions will mean for the inter county season.
As things stand, there's no plan to restructure the Leagues, but they may not start until the end of March.
Counties are set to be given at least four weeks pre-season training.
The leagues had been scheduled to begin on the last weekend of February.
It’s likely that the knock-on effect of this delay would see the All-Ireland finals moved from mid-July to August.
