Former Mayo footballer Fiona McHale joined Michael D. McAndrew on the Sunday Sports Show this afternoon.

Fiona is the Vice-chair of Next Gen, a developmental platform which aims to connect young GPA and WGPA members with the resources to influence positive change within Gaelic games and society.

The Carnacon player says the initiative aims to enhance leadership and communication skills in young players and give them a voice in the running of both organisations.

She also discussed the late venue change of the All-Ireland Ladies football semi-final, the possibility of returning to the fold with Mayo and AFL being televised on TG4.
