Connacht GAA Secretary John Prenty joined Michael D. McAndrew on the Sunday Sports show to discuss the current state of play following surging Covid-19 case numbers.
The National CCCC met earlier this week and decided to push back the return of collective inter-county training until the beginning of February, ahead of the return of League games.
The Ballyhaunis GAA clubman said that pushing back the start of the League by a week was another option, considering the fact that there is a break week in March.
The former Mayo GAA Secretary says it is unlikely that Mayo's opening Connacht Championship game with London will go ahead this year.
He added that London missing out on the Championship for the second consecutive year would be a big blow for GAA in the county.
