Mayo are back in the All-Ireland final for the first time since 2017 after a Cillian O'Connor inspired shootout.

James Horan's men gave a powerful attacking performance in a foggy Croke Park to blow Tipperary away, with O'Connor amassing 4-9 of their total.

At halftime the damage was done, Mayo led by 4-12 to 1-5.

The Westerners will not be pleased with the amount of goal scoring opportunities they afforded to their opposition in this match.

It is something that will need to be rectified when they face six-in-a-row chasing Dublin in a fortnight.

Fulltime score from GAA HQ Mayo 5-20 3-13 Tipperary.
