Ciaran Finn is a Claremorris man playing with the Donegal hurlers, who in turn play Mayo this weekend in the Nicky Rackard Cup final.
The Claremorris footballer hurls with Tooreen and was drafted into the Donegal ranks after being stationed as a Garda in Letterkenny.
Ciaran suffered an ACL injury while playing with the Claremorris footballers in August and as a result won't be a part of the match-day squad on Sunday.
He echoes Limerick Hurling manager John Kiely's view that all panel members should be allowed to attend championship matches during restrictions.
