Kyle Callan-McFadden has ended his four-year stay at Sligo Rovers after deciding to relocate to the UK.
The defender, who was made club captain in 2018, will join King's Lynn, a club located in Norfolk where his partner's family are based.
King's Lynn play in the National League in England and are just one tier away from League 2.
McFadden departs after Liam Buckley's side finished fourth in the Airtricity League Premier, an outcome that could see the Bit O Red play in Europe next season depending on who wins the FAI Cup.
