Sligo GAA have a significant number of positive Covid-19 cases in their football panel and are awaiting further results on more players.
This has put their Connacht Championship semi-final meeting with Galway this weekend in considerable doubt.
Sligo tested a number of players in the past two days and results came back positive on several players, with more tested yesterday and they are now awaiting those results.
The county board will issue a statement this morning confirming they are following protocols and HSE guidelines and are in dialogue with officials at Croke Park and the Connacht Council.
Contact tracing is also taking place.
