A Claremorris athlete is currently on a fundraising campaign over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Olivia Barrett is raising funds to help build the Daisy Lodge in Cong, a facility which will provide vital care for children with cancer.

The Kiltimagh Knock United and Claremorris LGFA player has set a personal target of a 100km  run/walk/cycle over the bank holiday weekend and a collective distance of 500km.

She is urging others to donate and participate by tracking their kms, sharing their progress on their instagram story and tagging @cancerfundforchildren and @daisylodge4mayo.
