We have arrived at the Knockout stages of the Mayo Club Championship and Midwest Radio will have live commentary of the 4 Mayo Senior Quarter finals this weekend. On duty will be Michael D. McAndrew & Tom Carney with analysis from Declan O'Reilly, Nigel Reape, Austin O'Malley & Mike Solan. We'll also have reporters at all of the other games across the senior, intermediate and junior championships.
This evening Elverys MacHale Park will play host to a double header in the Connacht Gold Mayo SFC Quarter finals. First up at 5.30 is the reigning champions Ballintubber up against Knockmore and we’ll have Michael D. McAndrew & Declan O’Reilly on commentary.
That will be followed at 7.30pm by Ballaghaderreen and Breaffy with Tom Carney & Nigel Reape on duty.
On Sunday the other two quarter finals are also fixed for MacHale park with The Neale taking on Westport at 2pm where Michael D. MAndrew & Austin O’Malley will be capturing the action.
That will be followed by Aghamore and Ballina Stephenites at 4pm with Tom Carney and Mike Solan on duty.
In the senior relegation play-offs Garrymore will meet Bohola Moy Davitts on Saturday at 4pm in Charlestown while on Sunday Claremorris will take on Charlestown at 1pm in Ballyhaunis.
In the Egan Jewellers Intermediate Football Championship two of the quarter finals take place on Saturday.
At 3.30pm in Claremorris it’s the local derby between Mayo Gaels and Balla while at 4pm in Swinford Bonniconlon will take on Hollymount-Carramore.
On Sunday at 12 in Ballina it’s the meeting of Crossmolina Deel Rovers and Kiltimagh while Ardnaree will meet Ballinrobe at 2pm in Islandeady.
In the Intermediate relegation play-offs Islandeady and Ballyhaunis will face off on Saturday at 4pm in Ballinrobe on Saturday.
On Sunday at 12 noon in Parke it’s Burrishoole v Swinford.
In the TF Royal Hotel & Junior Mayo JFC there will be two quarter finals on Saturday and two on Sunday.
At 4pm in Westport on Saturday Kilmeena will take on Achill while at the same time in Kiltimagh it’s Shrule/Glencorrib and Killala.
On Sunday at 1pm in Ray Prendergast Memorial Park Kilmaine will face Ardagh while at 3pm in Knockmore it’s Cill Chomain and Eastern Gaels.
Elsewhere in the Exclusive Junior B Group on Saturday Kilmovee will host Ballycastle at 4pm while at the same time Ballycroy will travel to Moygownagh.
In group 2 at 4pm Kilfian will take on Lacken.
