The opening round of the Mayo Club Football Championship gets underway this weekend.

Only 200 people are allowed to attend which includes players, management and officials.

In Group 1 of the Connacht Gold Senior Football Championship on Saturday it’s The Neale & Garrymore in a South Mayo Derby while Ballaghaderreen host the 2018 Intermediate Champions Belmullet with both games fixed for 7pm.

In Group 2 at 5pm Davitts entertain Bohola Moy Davitts while at 7pm in Clogher the reigning County Champions Ballintubber take on Aghamore.

In group 3 both games are on Sunday – Knockmore host Claremorris at 2pm while Kiltane travel to Ballina Stephenites at 4pm.

In group 4 on Saturday at 5pm Charlestown Sarsfields welcome Castlebar Mitchels while on Sunday at 4pm Breaffy host Westport.

In the Egan Jewellers Intermediate Football Championship and to Group 1 where both games are down for Sunday. At 1pm Bonniconlon entertain Louisburgh while at 6pm Kiltimagh host Swinford in an East Mayo Derby.

In Group 2 on Sunday at 1pm Castlebar Mitchels B welcome Burrishoole at 3pm its Ardnaree Sarsfields and Mayo Gaels.

In Group 3 at 7pm on Saturday evening Balla take on Islandeady while the other game in that group is at 3pm on Sunday between Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin and Hollymount-Carramore.

Both games in Group 4 are on Saturday evening as Lahardane host Ballinrobe at 5pm and Crossmolina are away to Ballyhaunis at 7pm.

In the TF Royal Theatre Junior Football Championship Group 1 is arguably the toughest one to call.

On Saturday at 7pm Ardagh host Kilmovee Shamrocks while on Sunday at 4pm Eastern Gaels entertain Moygownagh.

In group 2 both games are on Saturday evening – Killala host Kilmeena at 5pm while at 7pm Ballycroy are away to Lacken.

In Group 3 on Sunday Achill host last year’s finalists Kilmaine at 2pm while an hour later Kilfian are at home to Tourmakeady.

In Group 4 at 1pm on Sunday its a local derby between Ballycastle & Cill Chomain.
