Louisburgh GAA Club has confirmed that contract tracing following a confirmed Covid-19 case in the area last weekend has been completed.

The club has been informed that it has no direct implications for the club.

The club's Michael Walsh League fixture last Saturday against Balla did not go ahead as a result of concerns over the confirmed case.

A statement issued by the club today outlined: “No club or team member is impacted directly by the case.

"We wish the patient a full and speedy recovery.

“Mayo County GAA Board is informed of this and has given the green light for Louisburgh to resume activities on Friday at 9 a.m.
