Competitive Club football will return next weekend with the opening round of the Michael Walsh Leagues.

Con Moynihan who is the Chairman of the Mayo GAA Central Controls Committee says it’s great to see that clubs in the county are putting their shoulder to the wheel in terms of adhering to the strict protocols.

There will be 23 fixtures over the course of next weekend.

Before each game there will be a minutes silence to remember all of the people that have passed away over the past four months.

There will be an attendance restriction of 200 people for the next couple of weeks.

Con Moynihan is also encouraging people to support the Club Development Draw as well as the various club Lotto’s across the county.

He joined Michael D. McAndrew on Sunday Sport today to discuss a wide range of topics.
