42-year old Mr O'Haire was a native of Rathkelly, Ballinrobe, and his family have a long association with Ballinrobe GAA Club.

Liam played at all underage levels for the club, Ballinrobe primary school and Ballinrobe Community School.

A serving member of An Garda Siochana, Liam is survived by his wife Anna, a son and daughter, his mother Mary sisters, brothers in law and extended family.

His late father Christy, who died suddenly in 1996, was a former club player and officer.

He also managed club teams to win a number of county championship titles at under-age and adult levels, and was also a selector on a variety of Mayo teams.
