A former Mayo footballer is appealing to the GAA to make a definitive decision on this year’s championship within a month.

Davitts GAA clubman, Michael Conroy made the call, saying that the GAA shouldn’t put any decision ‘on the long finger’.

He believes the club scene may need to be played off before the start of the inter-county scene.

Conroy thinks it’s doubtful packed GAA games will return in the summer while social distancing measures remain in place.
