Clubs must be prioritised when the Covid-19 crisis is over- that's according to the Chairman of the Club Players Association Michéal Briody.

He says the GAA have a massive opportunity to reconnect at community level by devoting a significant window of time for club games when action resumes.

According to the Irish independent, the CPA chairman expects a completely different calendar to be drawn up, on the back of tomorrow's Special Congress, and he says club championships are a natural and logical way to ease back into action when the coronavirus crisis in under control.
