The GAA say they will discuss possibly changing the structure of their competitions.
They'll hold a Special Congress on Friday, having decided to postpone the start of this year's All Ireland championships, which were scheduled to begin next month.
The GAA says senior inter-county championships will be postponed until further clarity on the current situation is available, but it's highly unlikely these games will be rescheduled anytime before July at the earliest.
They also want the Allianz Leagues to reach their completion but may only play games that have an impact on next year's divisions.
Meanwhile, GAA season ticket holders are not expected to receive refunds if the coronavirus pandemic forces the abandonment of the Allianz Leagues and/or Championship.
