The Irish Indoor Rowing Championships took place in University Limerick and it was another great club day for Tullaghan Bay and Naomh Micheal rowing clubs.

A total of Seven Gold, two silver and two bronze medals were won by the Clubs.  Gold Medals are coming home to Erris with Fiachna Barrett, Micheal Cormack and Niamh Egan, winning Gold in their individual races, 1000 metres in the case of the two young men at U18 and U16 and a 500 metres for Niamh Egan who held an Irish record in a younger category.

Gold also went to Catherine Smyth, Aimee Carey, Leah Gaughan & Niamh Egan winning their 2000m relay.

Darragh Gallagher takes home two medals winning Silver and Bronze in a distance row and a 500 metre sprint. Micheal Cormack, Naomh Micheal added a further silver medal and Tara Doocey won Bronze at Women’s U18 1000 metres.

In total the rowers take home 7 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.
