At Wednesday night's Mayo GAA executive meeting Declan O'Reilly from Castlebar Mitchels was appointed as coaching officer for 2020.


Declan is a former underage & senior player with Mayo. He is a Moclair cup winning manger with Castlebar Mitchels & has coached numerous other teams over the last number of years.


The executive also approved the appointment of Daithí Gallagher from Castlebar Mitchels as the new Bord na nÓg chairman.


There are two candidates contesting the position of cultural office, Gráinne Kelly-Frayne from Aghamore & Debbie Lavelle Doyle from Lahardane.


The election date for this position will be confirmed at next week's Co Board meeting.
