The officers of Mayo County Committee have been asked to attend a meeting with members of the Connacht Council and the GAA's Central Council.

They've been summoned in the wake of a standoff between the County Board and Mayo's International Supporters Foundation and discussions between Connacht Council and the GAA's Director General Tom Ryan.

The Foundation are currently witholding 250-thousand Euro in funding after questions were raised over governance and sponsorship issues.

Mayo have been informed that the purpose of the meeting would be to "scope" the "full extent" of the issues and to try and find a solution.
