Cora Staunton looks to be close to returning to action after suffering a horrendous double leg break during the summer in an Aussie Rules Game.
Initial scans of her injury at the time confirmed that the four-time All-Ireland winner broke both the tibia and fibula bones in her right leg, according to her Australian Football League Women's (AFLW) club Greater Western Sydney (GWS) Giants.
The injury was considered to be a threat to her Aussie Rules career, but the 37-year-old appears to making great strides in her recovery.
A video published by the GWS Giants shows the Carnacon native doing a running drill, some five months after sustaining the horrible injury.
The 11-time All-Star first signed for the Giants in 2017 and is now heading for her third campaign with the club after recently signing a new contract.
