Agnes Gaughan née McAndrew

Tallaghan Bawn, Geesala, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Muingnalee, Porturlin, Ballina - peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar - surrounded by her family on 8th January 2025.

Predeceased by her recently deceased son Oliver, her parents Anthony and Bridget, brothers Tony and Gerry and sister Philomena.

Beloved wife of Martin, dear mother of Angela and Declan and cherished grandmother to Emma, Zara and Nathan.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Declan’s partner Valerie, brothers John, Patrick and Peter, sister Mary Hegarty, brother-in-law P.J., nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday evening from 5.30 until 7 o’clock with funeral arriving at St. Pius X Church, Doohoma at 8.30.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Geesala Cemetery.
