Aileen O’Donoghue (née Fannon),

Thomas Street, Kiltimagh and Glenview, Illinois, USA - peacefully.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff at Ballinamore Nursing Home.

Aileen is predeceased by her husband Bill (who passed away in April of this year), her parents Matt and Hannah Fannon and her sister Rosemary Gill.

Dearly loved mother of Matthew and stepmother of Liam (Elizabeth), James (Gabrielle and their children Naomi, Wylie and Erin), Bonnie (Ankur).

Deeply regretted by her heartbroken sisters Cathy (Barry), Camilla (Paddy), Yvonne (Sean) and brothers Dominick (Margaret) and Joe (Erika), brother in law Gerry, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, her aunt Bernie and uncle Dominick, many cousins and a wide circle of friends both in Ireland and Chicago, neighbours and the amazing staff of Ballinamore Nursing Home.  

May she Rest in Peace. 

Aileen will repose at O’Hora’s Funeral Home, Kiltimagh, F12 Y1F7 on Friday, November 29th from 6pm with removal at 8pm to the home of her sister Cathy in Cloonkedagh.

Removal from Cloonkedagh on Saturday morning (house private) at 11.40am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh.

Aileen will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilkinure Cemetery, Kiltimagh.
