Quay Street, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Bromley, Kent - peacefully in the care of the Staff of the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet surrounded by his loving family on 28th February 2024.
Predeceased by his wife Bridget (née Bonner), parents Eddie and Annie, brothers Joe, Eamon and Sonny (Belmullet) and sister Mary Kelly (Roscommon).
Beloved father of Kieran, cherished father in law to Neasa and adored grandfather to Cathal.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sister Nancy (Orpington, Kent), brother Thomas (Dublin), sisters-in-law Winnie, Mary, Rosie, Nellie and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet for their kindness and commitment to P.J. throughout his time with them, especially in his final days in which he was treated with such dignity and care.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening from 5.30 until 7 o’clock.
Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet on Sunday morning for Funeral Mass at 10.30.
Burial will take place on Monday afternoon on Arranmore Island, Co. Donegal.
