His wonderful kindness, good humour will be missed. We climbed Croagh Patrick together, over 40 years ago when I was 16 years old and we had such a laugh. He was always making jokes and laughing. He also rescued me and my little sister from a scary dark night in Achill and brought us to safety, which we never have forgotton Bernie and Tess were always helping others and giving all a warm welcome to us at their lovely Achill home. We will remember him always with such love and fondness. May his sweet gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
