Margaret (Peig) Hennelly nee Dunleavy,

Burris, Manulla and formerly of Straide - at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband PJ in 1996 and by her sister Nancy.

She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her son John and daughter Regina; grandchildren Grace, Beth, Jane, Stephen, Dáithí, Naoise and Rían; son-in-law John and daughter-in-law Triona; and brothers Frank (Straide) and James (Bray, Co. Wicklow).

Rest in Peace

Margaret’s remains will repose at Belcarra Community Centre, F23 EK22 on Tuesday (19th September) from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to St Anne’s Church, Belcarra.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Keelogues Cemetery.

I was sad to hear of Peig's death and especially that I'm away for her funeral. I remembered her in Mass this morning. She is in her Heavenly home now forever. She used to phone me on occasion asking for prayers because of her of her own health situation and for her family. She wrote pieces about people she knew who died in the Conaught Telegraph. She wrote lovely remembrances of my parents when they died in 2008 and 2019. A thoughtful woman, mother and grandmother, who like all mothers worried about family.
