Michael John McDermott,
Cloontarsna, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital on 3rd February 2023.
Pre-deceased by his parents, and his sisters Maureen and Teresa.
Michael-John, beloved husband of Mary and loving father to John (Clare), Paddy (Castlerea), Bernie Ward (Castlerea), Kathleen Steele (Drogheda), Anne and Mary (Ballina), Michael and Kieran (Castlerea).
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, his sons and daughters, his adored grandchildren Sineád, Ciara, Donál, Aisling, Darren, Niamh, Shane, Claire, Orla, Oisín, Aaron, Adam and Lorcan, great-grandchildren Donnacha, Edie and Leo.
Also, his sons-in-law Frank and George, daughters-in-law Mary, Annette, Ailish and Joanne, nephew, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Tuesday evening from 4 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to St. Brigid’s Church, Cloonbonniffe.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Castlerea.
