A Status Yellow Wind warning remains in place this morning for the majority of the country.
This comes as Storm Herminia, the Spanish storm, tracks towards Ireland looking to cause further destruction.
Met Éireann issued the warning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford, effective from 5:00am this morning and expiring at 5:00pm this evening.
The warning for all Munster counties will expire at 12 noon, while it will continue after for some.
Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Galway will remain under the warning until 3:00pm this afternoon.
The warning extends for Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Louth and Meath until 6:00pm this evening.
A further warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford begins at 9:00pm tonight, lasting until 9:00am tomorrow morning.
Met Éireann have cited further damage to already weakened structures and trees and dangerous travelling conditions as potential impacts.
