The Department of Housing have issued a statement regarding Storm Eowyn.

In line with a Status red warning issued by Met Éireann, all National Parks and National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) sites will be closed on Friday 24th January. Public safety is a priority for NPWS. Facilities and amenities on all sites will be closed and will be opened only following review of all conditions.
We are asking the Public not to visit National Parks and NPWS sites tomorrow, Friday 24th January, and until further notice due to Storm Éowyn.
Please follow the weather warnings from Met Éireann and advice from the National Emergency Co-ordination Group and the National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management .
Update on reopening access to National Parks will be available on NPWS and Department social media platforms and other local and national news sources.
