Details

The incoming Government is being asked for additional funding to reduce waiting lists for homes in the west of Ireland.

The Western Care Association is asking the government to prioritise the need for retrofitting housing stock.

The group says bringing homes up to a A2BER standard is needed to meet efficiency standards.

CEO of the Western Care Association Dr. Mary Boyd says they will be able to look at the housing stock they have, and improve it.
