A status yellow low temperature and ice warning has been issued for the entire country.
It'll begin at 6 o'clock this evening and remain in place until 11 tomorrow morning.
Met Éireann is warning of widespread frost and ice, as temperatures fall below minus 3 degrees or lower in many places.
There are reports of snow falling in parts of East Mayo this morning and road users are advised to take due caution, with motorists also warning of black ice on some roads across the county.
