The Social Democrats will meet today to decide its approach to government formation talks.
The party must decide if it wants to press ahead with talks on being in a Coalition or to stay in opposition.
However, Independents look the most likely to make up the numbers with Fianna Fail and Fine Gael.
Talks between the two current government parties will also continue today.
