It's been a cold and icy night with a status yellow level warning for freezing fog across much of the country.
The Met Éireann alert affected Ulster, Connacht, and much of Leinster.
Conditions should be clearing around now - but icy patches and patches of fog may still persist in places - so drive with caution this morning.
