Sligo county councillor Gino O’Boyle will contest the General Election in the Sligo Leitrim constituency.
Cllr O’Boyle has been a member of Sligo County Council since 2015 and represents the People Before Profit party.
He ran in the 2020 General Election and received almost 1,800 first preference votes but failed to gain a Dáil seat.
