Emergency services were called to the scene of a road traffic collision in County Galway earlier today.
The collision, involving a car and a pedestrian, took place at Prospect Hill at around 11:30am this morning.
The male pedestrian was brought to University Hospital Galway as a result.
The road remains closed.
It is unknown what condition the pedestrian is in.
