The Tanaiste says there will be a 12 euro a week increase in the State Pension in tomorrow's budget.

However, he says suggestions it would be upped by 15 euro were "never tabled" - claiming there was "mischief going on".

The government is set to approve the tax and spending measures ahead of the budget announcement tomorrow - which is set to include a 2 billion euro cost of living package.
