Funeral arrangements for one of the teenagers who died following a road traffic collision last night on the Mayo Roscommon border have been announced.

James Daniels died after the car he was travelling in collided with a tractor on the N83 road in Levallyroe, just outside of Cloonfad after 8:00pm.

James lived in Swinefield, Cloonfad.

Another teenager in the car also died, while another male juvenile remains in a serious condition at Mayo University Hospital.

The tractor driver, a man in his 50s, was taken to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.

James will be sadly missed by his heartbroke parents Karen and Chris, brother Zachary, extended family and many friends.

He will repose at the PJ Keane Funeral Home, Cloonfad on Monday from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Cloonfad on Tuesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon.

Cremation afterwards in Shannon Crematorium at 4:00pm.

His Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the PJ Keane Funeral Directors’ Facebook page.
