Gardai attended the scene of a road traffic incident in Westport this afternoon.
It’s understood the driver of a car lost control on the Fairgreen mounting the footpath and hitting the front of a house.
The crash happened directly opposite Westport Garda Station.
There were reports of long traffic delays in Westport this afternoon as a result of the incident.
The occupants of the car are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
