A status yellow rain and thunderstorm warning has been lifted by Met Eireann this morning.
However motorist are still being advised to take care on the roads because of heavy overnight rain and the risk of damage caused by lightening.
Cathal Nolan from Ireland's Weather channel says we're facing into another week of unsettled conditions.
