Funding of over €193,000 has been announced today for a large number of voluntary groups.
Minister of State, Alan Dillon says 155 community, sporting and local groups across Mayo are to benefit under the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP).
Funding from €600 to €2,040 has been awarded to the groups and organisations from the Department of Rural and Community Development. They include community organisations, clubs, men’s and women’s sheds, youth centres and parish halls to improve their facilities and continue to facilitate the provision of their valuable services to the people of these areas.
